Brampton Folk Club Annual Showcase

May 27th, Sanderson Hall, St. Paul's United Church

7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This event features a wide variety of music and lots of members of the Brampton Folk Club playing plenty of familiar and original songs. This fundraising concert helps finance the club’s participation in many community events. (Note: This is a Saturday evening concert.)

This year’s theme is “Canadian People and Places” and will feature two dozen members of the folk club playing songs about some of the things that make us proud to be Canadian. You’ll hear songs by the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Stompin’ Tom and Blue Rodeo as well as pieces written about down east, out west and up north.

The concert takes place on Saturday, May 27th, upstairs in Sanderson Hall, St. Paul's United Church, 30 Main St. South. starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets ($15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors) are available at the door, at the St. Paul's church office, or through reservations by calling 647-BFF-FOLK (647-233-3655), or by emailing info@bramptonfolk.ca. Tickets are also available for $15 through the City Theatre Box Office (905-874-2800). 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM
