Welcome to our website!
The Brampton Folk Club is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is the following:
- To promote and encourage folk music in the Brampton area.
- To provide a forum for musicians to develop their skills in performing folk music.
- To provide as a resource to the city a talent pool for entertaining at community and charitable functions.
Our next monthly folk club meeting will, be held on March 3rd at the Snelgrove Community Centre, 11692 Hurontario St, Brampton, just south of Mayfield Road on the west side next to McDonald's. Click here for our 2025 meeting dates.
Our next Friday Folk Night Concert will be "Sounds of Hope", a Coldest Night of the Year Benefit Concert on February 21st. Check out our full 20th season here!
Our next concert at PAMA (Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives) will be on Thursday March 13th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. "Musical Memories - From the 50s to the 80s" will be a special in-the-round concert with Carlos Medina, Sylvia Genders and Mark Yan, as we dive into four of the most influential decades in music history. Our next Online Open Mic over Zoom will be on February 28th . Our Open Mics run from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with sign-up starting at 7 :00 p.m. Format is 2 song mini-sets.
