Welcome to our website!

The Brampton Folk Club is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is the following:

  • To promote and encourage folk music in the Brampton area.
  • To provide a forum for musicians to develop their skills in performing folk music.
  • To provide as a resource to the city a talent pool for entertaining at community and charitable functions.

*New for 2024! Our monthly folk club meetings will now be hold at the Snelgrove Community Centre, 11692 Hurontario St, Brampton, just south of Mayfield Road on the west side next to MacDonald's,, starting January 8th. Click here for our 2024 meeting dates.

Our Friday Folk Night Concert Series wraps up this month with our annual Showcase Concert. This year's theme is "Stories From Home" and will feature several of your favourite Brampton Folk Club perfomers. Click here for all the details!

Good news! In person Open Mic Nights have returned! We're currently hosting weekly Open Mics at St Paul's Anglican Church in Norval May 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. We'll then be hosting an Open Mic at Gallery 35 in downtown Brampton on July 26th. Click here for details!
