Welcome to our website!

The Brampton Folk Club is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is the following:

  • To promote and encourage folk music in the Brampton area.
  • To provide a forum for musicians to develop their skills in performing folk music.
  • To provide as a resource to the city a talent pool for entertaining at community and charitable functions.

Our next monthly folk club meeting will be held on September 14th at the Snelgrove Community Centre, 11692 Hurontario St, Brampton, just south of Mayfield Road on the west side next to McDonald's. Click here for our 2026 meeting dates.

Our Friday Folk Night Concert series kicks off on September 25th with a terrific double bill. Entitled "Blues, Roots and Guitars” it will feature blues guitarists and songwriters Suzie Vinnick and Emily Burgess. Click here for more info!

Our next Open Mic at Gallery 35 will be on Friday, September 18th. This free event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with sign-up starting at 7 p.m. Bring your instruments and share your 2 song set! Check it out here.

On Saturday October 3rd we’ll be returning to the Brampton Farmers’ Market from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Jamie Reilly and David MacLachlan will be playing near the big screen in Garden Square from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Enjoy some free folk music while shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables!
