  Open Mic Night

Open Mic  Night (Beaux-Arts Brampton, 70-74 Main St. North, Brampton, Ont.) 7:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. – Beaux Arts Brampton have partnered with the Brampton Folk Club to create an exciting new Open Night. We will be offering an open stage for musicians to sign up for 15 minute sets  It will run from 7 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with sign-up starting at 6:30 p.m. This is a Pay-What-You Can event, with a $5 recommendation for non-performers.

Rescheduled - Thursday Night Concert Series

The folk club is honoured to be part of the popular Thursday Night concert series in Gage Park. We will be presenting several artists, each doing a short set from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with different artists each show.

This year's line-up includes Mike Butterworth, Rene St. Aubin, Mark Yan, Sally Campbell, Ablett and Cooper, and David Storey.

Gage Park is located in downtown Brampton, at the south-west corner of Main St. and Wellington St.

  Brampton Farmers' Market

We are honoured and excited to be participating in the Cith of Brampton's official kick-off to summer with the return of the Brampton Farmers' Market to Garden Square. Enjoy great music by Celteclectic, Rebecca Phillips and Mike Gauthier while shopping for fresh fruit and vegetable.

Garden Square is located on the northeast corner of Queen and Main, in downtown Brampton.

Friday Folk Night (Sanderson Hall, St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton, Ont.) 7:30 p.m. - Coffee-House style folk music concert.


Tonight: They’re back! Bluegrass band (The New) General Store. We are very excited to be opening our 16th season with the return of one of our most popular groups. Original General Store members Brian Riseborough, Helen Lewis and John Perkins have reformed along with stellar musicians Gene Gouthro and Larry Miller, and can’t wait to share their fun and exciting bluegrass and country music with us. They’re even bringing in musician extraordinaire Emory Lester to join them on fiddle for this special concert.   Opening act: Credit River Time.
