Brampton Folk at PAMA

Brampton Folk Club presents a musical evening, backed by a changing lineup of local musicians.

Concerts will be held at PAMA (Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives) in the courthouse. PAMA is located at 9 Wellington St. E., just across from Gage Park.

  Brampton Farmers' Market

Enjoy free concerts in downtown Brampton, while you enjoy picking fresh fruits and vegetables and local crafts. The concerts will run from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon. and will feature artists from the Brampton Folk Club.

Here is today's line-up:

10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. Celteclectic
11:00 a.m. - 12 noon - special "in-the round" concert featuring Rebecca Phillips, Jamie Reilly and Karl Widmeyer.

The Brampton Farmers' Market is located at Queen at Main St. in downtown Brampton. It runs every Saturday morning from mid June to Thanksgiving weekend

  Friday Folk Night

Friday Folk Night (Sanderson Hall, St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton, Ont.) 7:30 p.m. - Coffee-House style folk music concert. Tonight: “Across Canada by Song” - A Sesquicentennial Journey with Mike Ford.  We are very excited to kick off our 14th season with a very special all Canadian Concert. Mike will be playing a fun high energy mix of well-known Canadian covers and his own creative original songs about Canada’s history and culture. Opening act: Glenn McFarlane, who’ll do his own special brand of Canadian songs.   Open Mic Paint Night

Open Mic / Paint Night (Beaux-Arts Brampton, 70-74 Main St. North, Brampton, Ont.) 7:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m. – Beaux Arts Brampton have partnered with the Brampton Folk Club to create a new monthly event that blends music and art. We will be offering an open stage for musicians to sign up for 15 minute sets, with facilities set up in the back for artists to paint and create.  It will run from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with sign-up starting at 6:30 p.m. This is a Pay-What-You Can event, with a $5 recommendation for non-performers.
