Come join the Brampton Folk Club for a good old-fashioned Campfire Singalong inside the Chinguacousy Branch Library! We'll supply the song-books, you supply the voices (and instruments if you want). Our indoor campfire singalong is smoke free and mosquito free!!!

Brampton Folk at PAMA

Brampton Folk Club presents a musical evening, backed by a changing lineup of local musicians.

Concerts will be held at PAMA (Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives) in the courthouse. PAMA is located at 9 Wellington St. E., just across from Gage Park.

 

Theme: October 12th – “Autumn Leaves” with David Storey and Moira & Elena (Note: this concert will be upstairs in the Council Chambers)

  Friday Folk Night

Friday Folk Night (Sanderson Hall, St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton, Ont.) 7:30 p.m. – Coffee-House style folk music concert. Tonight: Super-group Betty and the Bobs, featuring Wendell Ferguson, Suzie Vinnick, Katherine Wheatley and many more! Betty and the Bobs was formed as an extracurricular vehicle for a group of Toronto musicians and friends who had worked together in different combinations. The mandate is to do all the songs they have ever wanted to do, but would never get around to doing in their own bands.  This includes a bunch of old tunes they grew up with -- country, blues, R&B, Beatles, gospel, old jazz, as well as some wacky original songs Opening act: TBA.
